If you purchase a share after the month of February, our Membership Secretary will contact you regarding pro-rated dues for the remainder of the current year.
Gift Memberships*
Give the gift of Athenaeum membership! All levels are available to give as gift to a friend or loved one and will be valid for a year upon issue.
*If you are purchasing a membership as a gift please provide the intended member’s contact information in addition to your own.
Note about Shareholder Membership: Shareholder memberships can apply to an individual, couple, or an entire household. The current price of a share is $500, with annual dues set at $210. Only Shareholders are able to exercise full privileges within the organization.
Full cost of a Shareholder Membership: $500 (one–time share purchase) + $210 Annual Dues (to be collected in February)
All new Shareholders will be issued an Athenaeum of Philadelphia share certificate as well as a brief biography about one of the share’s previous owners – often dating back to the Athenaeum’s founding in 1814.
