Description:
Folding fan with single pleated leaf. Fabric (silk?) leaf features a landscape and floral sprays in delicate pastel shades with fine glitter accents. Inner and outer edges of the leaf have decorative gold banding. Bamboo sticks and guards are stamped with gold abstract geometric and swirl designs. Metal loop at rivet. This fan was probably manufactured as a souvenir of Japan for the Western market.
